Brunson 10 member continues his streak of consistent successes with $97,294 in tournament cashes on Monday

Las Vegas, Nevada – May 11, 2010 – Players at a number of online poker sites were dealt major blows yesterday by one member of DoylesRoom.com’s team of pros. Brunson 10 member Steve Gross won close to $100k playing in several poker tournaments across various online poker rooms.

Gross left his computer $97,294 richer after an incredible run in several major events. His biggest success story was back-to-back-to-back cashes in the Spring Championship of online poker. Gross finished strong in three SCOOP events to win $85,856 on Monday including a single $67,200 win for a 3rd place finish in Event #22. That win was sandwiched between a $2,818 victory in Event #21 and a $15,838 win in Event #23.

The Brunson 10 pro also found success in a $22k Guarantee where he won $1,387 and a $40k Guarantee where he cashed for $1,696. Another $8,355 in two separate $109 tournaments rounds out Steve’s list of wins.

In 2009, Gross finished atop Card Player’s Online Poker Player of the Year rankings after accumulating 10,188 OPOY points thanks to over $1.2 million in qualifying winnings. Currently occupying the #4 spot, Gross is on his way to earning back-to-back titles.
