Las Vegas, Nevada – May 14, 2010 – Steve Gross is officially on top of the world, or at least the online poker world. The Brunson 10 member currently ranks first on PocketFives.com’s online poker tournament players World Wide Rankings, familiar territory for the poker tournament titan who has graced the top of many online poker charts. In 2009, Gross finished first in Card Player’s 2009 Online Poker Player of the Year rankings.

Not even halfway through May, Steve’s performance this month is one for the record books. Gross has made five final tables to win $128,969 and cashed in 17 events for a total of $202,782 in tournament winnings.

That’s just this month. In April, Gross won $19,630 in a $60,000 guaranteed tournament and cleaned up in a $55 rebuy tournament for a $5,371 paycheck. His total tournament winnings in April topped $52,000 and included three final tables and 28 events.

Steve Gross isn’t the only Brunson 10 player at the top of the PocketFives charts. Chris Moorman sits in the 7th spot having accumulated $31,718 in tournament winnings in May and an impressive $83,199 in tournament winnings in April.
